Afrikaans Hoër Meisies wins ATKV National Choir Competition

Congratulations to Afrikaans Hoër Meisies Pretoria Choir and their conductor Renette Bouwer for their fantastic performance of The Fire Dance of Luna by Darius Lim. The choir performed a diverse repertoire of choral music and emerged the overall winner of the ATKV National choir competition for schools. The competition hosted a staggering 36 regional rounds, involving some 15,700 singers from all over South-Africa. The finals that took place over 4 evenings in the first week of August 2017. The Afrikaans Hoër Meisies Pretoria Choir were the winners in both 'Girls Choirs Advanced' and went on to be awarded the overall winner.
